WHAT TO SEE IN THE PUERTO DE SÓLLER?

PLAYA REPIC IN PUERTO DE SÓLLER:

The beach d’en Repic is one of the busiest in the Port of Sóller during the summer months.

As it is a beach with fine golden sand and clear water, it is one of the favourites for families who go with their children to enjoy the sea. Also because the access to the water is with a gentle slope.

This beautiful beach has the main services: umbrellas, showers, hammocks … In addition, on the pedestrian walkway you will find numerous terraces of restaurants and hotels that offer dishes that include children’s menus. There are also some shops and souvenirs to be found.

PLAYA DEL FARO EN PUERTO DE SÓLLER:

This quiet and secluded cove of rocks and stones is located near the beach of Repic.

It is accessed by a detour that is not signposted on the road up to the lighthouse.

The length of the beach is 100 metres and unlike the other two, is less crowded. In general, except for days of strong waves where bathing is not recommended, the water is very clear and is usually one of the favorite places for those who want to snorkel.

Sunset at the port of Soller:

The Port of Sóller is one of the spots in Mallorca with the most spectacular sunsets.

The sun sets right in the middle of the bay during the summer months and make this beautiful place a must-see for all romantics.

Another of the best places to say goodbye to the day is from the “Faro des Capgros”. A place that breathes peace and tranquility and that is usually frequented by couples or groups of friends. However, to get to the Lighthouse you must do so in a vehicle if you do not want to walk the 20 minutes it takes to climb up.

For those who dare to walk the path, they can be assured that the views of the whole bay are well worth it.

MUSEUMS IN THE PORT OF SÓLLER.

The Museum of the Sea in the Port of Sóller has recently been reopened.

Emigration, fishing and trade are the main subjects dealt with.

The Oratory has extraordinary views of the port of Sóller and the northwest coast of Mallorca.

CONNECTION BY TRANSPORT OF SOLLER-SOLLER AND SOLLER-PORT OF SOLLER:

The centenary tram of the Port of Sóller is the main tourist attraction in this area.

Thousands of people travel, every year, on board the tram that connects Sóller with its port, in its picturesque orange wooden carriages.

For half an hour, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Serra de Tramuntana, while the legendary tram travels its way through orange and lemon orchards.

It’s a magnificent experience that makes young and old fall in love year after year. The tram makes several stops along the way so you can get off just as the pedestrian path begins and reach the marine area with a pleasant walk.
